Here's your chance!

Klangareal brings musicians together for the creation of individual project songs. The beginning of a new song is made by a musician with an idea, e.g. a guitar riff or a vocal line. Other musicians follow up and contribute their ideas.

Help to further develop the current Klangareal songs. Or set a starting point yourself with something new.

In the end, there is a finished studio production of a new song that is publicly available as audio stream (e.g. Deezer, iTunes, Amazon Music etc. or Bandcamp, Soundcloud, Jamendo).

In pre-production, the songwriting takes place. The status of current pre-productions incl. audio samples can be viewed below. Initially, simple audio material is sufficient, which can also be recorded at home. Once songwriting and pre-production with all participating musicians are finished, the song is recorded in the studio near Cologne, Germany, in joint sessions on a professional level and then is produced up to the release.

Music production, recording & mixing, songwriting, guitar and bass are to be considered as a hobby. Financial interest is explicitly not in the foreground and does not guide the collaboration in any way.

These are the current versions. Whenever more musicians come along with their ideas, the material sometimes changes a lot. And that's what it's all about ;-)

Vocals, drums, bass, guitars, piano, background vocals, percussions, strings and wind instruments, synths...or exotic stuff...basically everything that fits to the tracks is welcome! I'm open for electronic elements as long as the music doesn't consist of them exclusively.
